Senior Business Services Accountant

Overview
As a Senior Accountant you will be required to prepare financial statements and income tax returns for our client base of operating businesses and high net worth family groups/individuals.
Other responsibilities include
Mentoring and supervising graduates and accountants
Assisting in the delivery of consulting engagements
Keeping abreast of changing technologies in order to deliver proactive advice to our clients
Skills and experience
You will be expected to provide high quality reports and advice for our senior staff and clients. Experience with Big 4 or 2nd Tier Chartered Accounting firms will be viewed favourably as will strong IT skills, including Reckon APS & Xero Certification.
4+ years of Australian Tax Agent/Business Services experience
Experience with all types of entities, including companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds
Excellent interpersonal and client facing skills
Strong leadership qualities
Resilient and career minded
Demonstrated experience in assisting clients with improving systems and processes will be viewed favourably, as will experience with cloud analytics platforms.
