About Luna Startup Studio

Luna Startup Studio (https://www.weareluna.co/) is an Australian-based consultancy firm that offers legal, accounting, and business services to startups and founders. Luna hosts in-house expertise and industry connections to support founders at every stage, from setup to investment and successful exits. Luna’s team of startup specialists helps Australian startups launch, grow, and go global.

In September 2019, Luna Startup Studio enlisted TGS Partners to assist in delivering these services.

The Project

Luna Startup Studio’s accounting services are comprised of bookkeeping, tax, payroll, and virtual CFO services, including cashflow forecasting, dashboard reporting, and company valuations. Luna Startup Studio enlisted TGS Partners to provide accounting and tax agent services for their clients, as part of a shared delivery model.

Through this partnership, TGS Partners provides resources and expert knowledge to build upon Luna’s in-house capabilities. TGS provides sound accounting and tax advice to Luna clients, while tailoring and delivering these services in a way that Luna’s startup clients understand. TGS provides combined knowledge in accounting, business advisory, and wealth creation in a way that bolsters Luna’s internal capability, and works well for the firm as an extension of the internal team.

Luna Startup Studio considers TGS to be very agile for a ’traditional’ professional services provider, while working hard to successfully deliver very practical solutions for this unique client base.
